Blöðin shows free newspapers and magazines that Icelandic publishers publish and make available. The service is free and needs no sign-up.

Copyright and other rights in the papers and their content belong to their publishers and authors. Publishers are responsible for the content, and Blöðin shows it unchanged.

Blöðin's design, logo, text and software belong to Engine ehf. and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy or use them without permission.

You're free to read the papers, search them and share links to them. You may not copy the papers systematically, download content automatically in bulk or republish it without the publisher's permission. Nor may you disrupt or impair Blöðin, for example by putting undue load on it, try to get around its security, or use it for anything unlawful.

We may block traffic that breaks these terms, such as automated collection of content, without notice. If we suspect a crime, we reserve the right to report it to the authorities.

We do our best to keep Blöðin available and accurate, but can't guarantee that the service is always available or free of errors; it can be interrupted, for example by faults or updates. Engine ehf. is not liable for damage arising from the use of Blöðin except where the law requires, and never for indirect or consequential loss such as lost profits. We're not responsible for the content of other websites linked to.

Engine ehf. is not responsible for failures of the service caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, strikes, government action, power shortages or outages at telecom and hosting providers.

We may change these terms. The latest version is always on this page.

These terms are governed by Icelandic law. Any dispute shall be brought before the District Court of Reykjavík.
